Shafer Bird

Years ago, a mythical bird fluttered into the bustling dining hall of Shafer, and there it made its home.

Legend has it that if a student comes upon the bird it may fly down, pick at the crumbs on their plate, and chirp dark secrets into the student’s ear. That, or students are hallucinating from sleep deprivation.

Regardless, Shafer Bird was born and became VCU’s number one source for food-related content.

I wrote food reviews, covered local food events, and drank many a beverage–all in the pursuit of truth!
